Stocky app not working: Shopify Stocky alternatives for POS Pro

Stocky can no longer manage inventory: its inventory workflows and APIs ended August 31, 2026. Clearing a browser cache cannot restore retired features. Shopify provides read-only access to export records for at least 90 days after that date.

Distinguish retirement from a loading problem

First identify the action you are attempting. Inventory management and Stocky API integrations ended; read-only export access is a separate workflow. If an export page fails to load, use a current supported browser, check your Shopify account permissions, and ask Shopify support about access. Do not assume the retired inventory features will return.

Preserve accessible data

Save purchase order line-item CSV files and stocktake reports while access is available. Supplier lists cannot be exported directly according to Shopify. Copy any accessible contacts, lead times, MOQs and notes; missing contact details cannot be reconstructed from product quantities alone.

Choose the replacement workflow

Start with Shopify’s native purchase orders and transfers. If you need additional purchasing, forecasting, reporting or historical imports, evaluate an app. Reorda is $19/month and provides suppliers, purchase orders, receiving, stocktakes and sales-based reorder suggestions. Other apps offer different planning and integration scopes.

Verify before relying on your new app

Preview imports, resolve unmatched SKUs and confirm receiving locations. Process one real purchase order and check the inventory change. Historical imports and live receiving are separate actions; do not receive old delivered orders a second time.

Can I still export records?

Shopify says read-only export access remains available for at least 90 days after August 31, 2026. Check current Shopify guidance and your account access.

Do I have to buy an app?

Not necessarily. Evaluate Shopify’s native purchase orders and transfers first. Use an app if its additional workflows meet a real need.
