How to migrate from Stocky to Reorda (step-by-step, 2026)
Stocky is being retired on August 31, 2026. If you’ve picked Reorda as your replacement, here’s the exact order to do the migration in — so nothing gets lost and your new store is ready to order from day one.
Step 1 — Export your purchase order history from Stocky
This is the single most important file. In Stocky, export your full purchase order history as CSV. It records, for every order, the supplier, the products and the cost paid — which is how Reorda rebuilds your suppliers even though Stocky has no supplier export.
Step 2 — Copy the fields no export contains
Some supplier details live only inside Stocky and appear in no CSV. Open each supplier and copy these into a spreadsheet now:
- Contact email and phone.
- Lead time (days from order to delivery).
- Minimum order quantity or value.
- Account numbers, payment terms and notes.
Step 3 — Install Reorda and import the CSV
Install Reorda from the Shopify App Store, then import your Stocky purchase order history CSV. On import, Reorda rebuilds your product-to-supplier links and last costs automatically, so when you create your first new purchase order the supplier and price auto-fill — no retyping.
Migrating off Stocky?
Reorda rebuilds your supplier database automatically from your purchase order history — the one thing Stocky never let you export. $19/month flat, 14-day free trial.

Add the lead times, MOQs and contact details you copied in Step 2 onto the matching suppliers in Reorda. These power low-stock ordering suggestions, so they’re worth the few minutes.
Step 5 — Run one real purchase order end to end
Create a PO, email it to a supplier, then receive it against your inventory. Doing one full loop confirms everything is wired up before you rely on it. See how receiving works in Reorda.
Step 6 — Leave Stocky installed until August 31
There’s no rush to uninstall. Keep Stocky as a read-only reference until you’re fully settled — or just let Shopify remove it on the shutdown date.
Frequently asked questions
How long does it take to migrate from Stocky?
For most stores, under an hour. The slow part is copying supplier contact details and lead times out of Stocky by hand — everything tied to your purchase order history imports automatically. Budget an afternoon if you have a lot of suppliers with notes and MOQs.
Will I lose my purchase order history?
No, as long as you export it as CSV before August 31, 2026. Reorda imports that CSV and rebuilds your product-to-supplier links and last costs from it, so your ordering history keeps working in the new app.
Do I need to uninstall Stocky first?
No. Keep Stocky installed until you've exported everything and confirmed it imported cleanly into Reorda. Only remove Stocky once you're satisfied — or just let it be removed automatically on August 31, 2026.
Does migrating affect my live Shopify inventory?
No. Your stock levels live in Shopify, not in Stocky or Reorda. Switching inventory apps doesn't touch your on-hand quantities — Reorda reads and updates the same Shopify inventory Stocky did.
