How to migrate from Stocky to Reorda (step-by-step, 2026)
Stocky inventory workflows ended on August 31, 2026. If you’ve picked Reorda as your replacement, here’s the exact order to do the migration in, so nothing gets lost and your new store is ready to order from day one.
Step 1, Export your purchase order history from Stocky
This is the single most important file. In Stocky, export your full purchase order history as CSV. It records, for every order, the supplier, the products and the cost paid, which is how Reorda rebuilds your suppliers even though Stocky has no supplier export.
Step 2, Copy the fields no export contains
Some supplier details live only inside Stocky and appear in no CSV. Open each supplier and copy these into a spreadsheet now:
- Contact email and phone.
- Lead time (days from order to delivery).
- Minimum order quantity or value.
- Account numbers, payment terms and notes.
Step 3, Install Reorda and import the CSV
Install Reorda from the Shopify App Store, then head to Import and upload the file from Step 1. Give it a minute, it’s matching every historical line against your live catalog, not just parsing text. How long does it take to migrate from Stocky?
Timing depends on the number of files, unmatched SKUs and missing supplier details. The slow part is copying supplier contact details and lead times out of Stocky by hand, everything tied to your purchase order history imports automatically. Budget an afternoon if you have a lot of suppliers with notes and MOQs.
Will I lose my purchase order history?
Keep your line-item CSV exports. Shopify provides read-only export access for at least 90 days after August 31, 2026. Reorda imports that CSV and rebuilds your product-to-supplier links and last costs from it, so your ordering history keeps working in the new app.
Do I need to uninstall Stocky first?
No. Keep Stocky installed until you've exported everything and confirmed it imported cleanly into Reorda. Only remove Stocky after preserving accessible records and checking the imports.
Does migrating affect my live Shopify inventory?
No. Your stock levels live in Shopify, not in Stocky or Reorda. Importing historical purchase orders does not itself receive stock. Receiving a purchase order or applying a stocktake in Reorda does update Shopify quantities; check the action before confirming.
