How to manage purchase orders and inventory on iPads & mobile devices

Use a tablet to work beside the shipment rather than transcribing counts later at a desk. Test Reorda in your Shopify Admin device context before a full receiving session: login, input focus, scanning and printing can behave differently across devices.

Check access before receiving

Open Reorda from Shopify Admin, confirm the correct shop and receiving location, and open an existing purchase order. Use a current browser or supported Shopify mobile app. A successful desktop session does not by itself establish that every tablet/browser combination works.

Use a compatible scanner

Reorda supports keyboard-mode USB/Bluetooth scanners, not phone-camera scanning. Pair the scanner as a keyboard where supported and focus the scan field. Scan a known product and verify its variant. Some scanner modes are specific to POS and may not type into an Admin app.

Review quantities before applying them

Enter what physically arrived, not the original order quantity if a shipment is partial. Review the receiving location and proposed quantities before confirming. Check Shopify inventory afterwards. Avoid having two people receive the same shipment independently.

Printing may need a separate workstation

Reorda generates PDF labels and purchase orders. Actual printing depends on the device, printer driver, label stock and page scaling. Test one label at actual size; a PDF feature does not guarantee a particular iPad/printer pairing.

If the page does not load

Check shop access and current browser support. Stocky inventory workflows ended August 31, 2026; browser changes cannot restore those retired features. Contact support@reorda.app with the device model, browser and failed action if Reorda has a problem.
